Websites for roofers

Roofing websites that bring in jobs, not just visits

Someone with a leaking roof searches on their phone, looks at two or three roofers, and calls the one that is easiest to call. A roofing website has one job: be that one. We build roofing websites and sales pages that turn searches into quote requests, and the roofing SEO that keeps the searches coming.

What a roofing site has to do

Most roofing websites are a brochure. The ones that bring in work are built around the moment a homeowner decides who to call. Six things make the difference.

1

Quote request in two taps

Phone number and a short quote form at the top of every page. Name, suburb, phone, what is wrong. Nothing else. On a phone, the call button sits where the thumb is.

2

Photos of real jobs

Your crew, your roofs, your suburbs. Before and after pairs, dated, with the suburb named. Stock photos of American shingle roofs tell people you are hiding something.

3

A page for every suburb you serve

People search for a roofer near them. One page per suburb or region, with real jobs from that area, is how you show up for those searches without buying every lead.

4

Storm and insurance work explained

After a hailstorm, homeowners want to know if you do insurance work and how the claim process goes. A clear page on it wins the jobs that come in waves.

5

Reviews, licence, warranty, up front

Your Google rating, your licence number, your workmanship warranty and your insurance cover, visible without scrolling. These are the questions people ask before they ring.

6

Fast on a phone, on a roof

Your customer is often standing in a driveway on patchy mobile data. The site has to load in a couple of seconds, with the number working on the first tap.

Why roofers lose enquiries

A roofing business rarely has a traffic problem. If you have reviews and a Google listing, people already find you. The problem is what happens in the ten seconds after they land on the site.

  • The number is hard to find. It is in the footer, or it is an image, or it is a landline that nobody answers at 7 am after a storm.
  • The quote form asks for too much. Eight fields and a captcha. The homeowner gives up and rings the next roofer on the list.
  • The site is slow on a phone. Big uncompressed photos, a slideshow, three tracking scripts. On mobile data it takes six seconds, and most people do not wait six seconds.
  • Nothing says where you work. If the site never mentions a suburb, Google has no reason to show you for one, and the visitor is not sure you cover their area.
  • No proof. No photos of real jobs, no licence number, no warranty terms, no reviews on the page. The visitor cannot tell you apart from the cheap operator who will not be around next year.

None of these are design problems. They are decisions about what goes where, and they are the first things we fix.

What we build

A roofing sales page is one page built around one offer, such as roof restoration in your city or storm damage repairs. Headline, the quote form, your photos, your reviews, your warranty, the suburbs you serve. It is the right choice when you want something live fast, when you run Google Ads and need a page to send the clicks to, or when one service brings in most of your margin.

A full roofing website adds a page for each service (re-roofing, restoration, repairs, guttering, Colorbond, tile, metal) and a page for each suburb or region, plus a job gallery, a reviews page, and an insurance and storm work page. It costs more and takes longer, and it ranks for far more searches. Every page still has the quote form at the top.

Both come with the same plumbing:

  • A quote form that lands in your inbox and on your phone, with the suburb and the job type so you can price it before you call back.
  • Call tracking so you know which pages and which searches produce the phone calls.
  • Your Google Business Profile set up or cleaned up, with the right categories, service areas and photos, because that listing is where most roofing enquiries start.
  • Technical SEO built in: fast pages, structured data that tells Google you are a roofing contractor in your area, and a site that works on every phone.
  • AI search visibility (GEO and AEO): clear facts about your business, written so ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can quote them when someone asks for a roofer in your area.
  • An editor you can use, so adding a job or a new suburb page does not mean calling us.

How it works

  1. Free audit. You send us your current site, or your Google listing if you have no site. We send back a short written report: speed, mobile, the path to a quote, where you rank in your suburbs, and whether AI tools mention you. It is yours either way.
  2. Fixed quote. We agree on sales page or full site, the services and suburbs to cover, and a price. It does not move unless you change the scope.
  3. You send photos and reviews. We write the pages. You check them. Most roofers spend about two hours in total on this.
  4. Live, tracked, handed over. The site goes live with call and form tracking. You own the design, the content, the code and every account. Thirty days of support are included.

Pricing

Prices are in US dollars and every project gets a fixed quote before work starts.

WhatFromTime
Roofing sales page: one offer, quote form, tracking$2,5001 to 2 weeks
Roofing website: service pages, suburb pages, gallery, reviews, technical SEO$7,5004 to 8 weeks
Roofing SEO retainer: local SEO, content, Google Business Profile, AI search, monthly report$1,500 a monthOngoing, cancel any month

A single re-roof is worth more than the sales page costs. The site only has to win you one job it would otherwise have lost.

Roofing SEO: being the roofer Google shows

When someone searches for a roofer, Google shows a map with three businesses first, then the normal results. Google says those map results are ranked on relevance, distance and prominence, and that there is no way to pay for a better local ranking (Google Business Profile Help). That is good news for a roofer with a real business and real reviews. Roofing SEO is the work of making those three things obvious to Google:

  • Relevance: the right categories on your Google listing, and a page on your site for each service and each area, so Google can match you to the search.
  • Distance: service area settings and suburb pages that say where you actually work, with jobs from those suburbs as proof.
  • Prominence: a steady flow of genuine reviews, mentions from suppliers, builders and local directories, and a site that other sites are happy to link to.

Our own research found that searches like "seo for roofers" and "roofing leads" have almost no competition in Australia. Very few roofers are doing this work properly, which is why it pays. We also check that AI assistants have the right facts about you, since a growing share of people ask ChatGPT or Google's AI Overview who to call before they search. Questions roofers ask

How much does a roofing website cost?

A roofing sales page starts at $2,500 and a full roofing website at $7,500, in US dollars. You get a fixed quote before any work starts, and the price does not change unless you change the scope.

How long until the site is live?

A sales page usually takes one to two weeks. A full website takes four to eight weeks, depending on how many service and suburb pages you want and how quickly we get your photos and reviews.

Do I need a full website or just a sales page?

If you sell one main thing, such as roof restoration in one city, a sales page with a quote form does the job and costs less. If you offer several services across many suburbs, a full website with a page for each will rank for more searches and bring in more work.

Can you fix my existing roofing website instead?

Often, yes. The free audit tells you whether a few targeted fixes, such as the quote path, speed and suburb pages, will earn more than a rebuild. We recommend whichever is cheaper for the result you want.

What is roofing SEO and do I need it?

Roofing SEO is the work that gets your business shown when someone nearby searches for a roofer: your Google Business Profile, reviews, suburb and service pages, and the technical health of the site. If most of your jobs come from referrals you may not need it. If you want Google to send you work every week, you do.
